Caption: This 3D topographic map of the crater where the Opportunity rover was landed was built
photogrammetrically from Pancam images taken on Sol 2 and Sol 3. It describes the geometric shape
of the crater where the lower part in northwest may be a candidate direction for driving out of
the crater. The map can be used for localization of the lander by comparing the size and shape of
the crater with information from DIMES and orbital images.
