This is a Pancam color composite image of the RAT acquired
before and after its first use on the Opportunity mission.
The top panel shows the RAT on Sol 29, just prior to its
use to make the lower RAT hole on the El Capitan part of
the outcrop.  The bottom panel shows the RAT on Sol 31,
after it has been used to drill the hole into the outcrop.

It appears that a lot of dust was generated by the RAT
during its operation.  The Pancam color and spectral properties
of the dust are consistent with it containing some fine-grained
crystalline red hematite.

These images are RGB composites using Pancam's 600 nm, 530 nm,
and 480 nm filters.
