This panoramic camera image taken by the Mars Exploration Rover Spirit on sol 39 gives a close-up look at the instrument deployment device and the donut-shaped plate on the moessbauer spectrometer.  This image makes it easy to recognize the imprint left by the moessbauer in the martian soil on sol 43.
