The route of NASA's Mars Exploration Rover Spirit, from its landing site in the lower left to its location on sol 71 (March 15, 2004) and destination for sol 72 is mapped onto an image from the camera on NASA's Mars Global Surveyor orbiter.  The map also shows five color-coded terrain types related to the crater nicknamed "Bonneville" in the upper right: crater floor, crater wall, crater rim, crater ejecta (material ejected from the crater), and intercrater plains.
