This panoramic camera image of the rock informally named "Pot of Gold" was taken by NASA's Mars Exploration Rover Spirit on sol 159. It is a closer look at the interesting rock, and confirmed to scientists and rover planners that the rock is now within the work volume of Spirit's robotic arm. The rover will investigate Pot of Gold in upcoming sols. This image is a false color composite of images acquired using the panoramic camera's 753 nm, 535 nm and 432 nm filters.
